About Shockwave
Shockwave is a 1990 NES action shooter from AGCI, designed around quick reflexes, constant movement, and direct arcade-style combat. Rather than building its appeal around a complicated story, the game puts the focus on controlling your craft, lining up attacks, and surviving the hazards and enemies that fill each stage. Its futuristic presentation and emphasis on explosive, screen-filling action give it the feel of a compact console adaptation of an arcade challenge.
The controls are easy to understand, but staying alive requires attention. Enemies can approach from different directions, and careless movement quickly leaves you exposed. Learning when to attack, when to reposition, and how to keep a clear path through the action is more important than simply holding down the fire button. The pace makes each attempt feel immediate, while the straightforward design encourages repeated play as you try to improve your progress.
