About Rc Pro Am 2

Rc Pro Am 2 brings Rare’s fast, chaotic racing formula to the NES with support for up to four players. Released in 1992 and published by Tradewest, it is an overhead arcade racer built around compact radio-controlled cars, busy circuits, and the constant struggle to stay ahead of the pack. Races are viewed from an angled top-down perspective, giving you a clear look at the track while leaving plenty of room for sudden collisions and clever shortcuts.

The courses are packed with familiar hazards and useful pickups. Cars can slide through oil slicks, crash through obstacles, and use weapons such as missiles and bombs to disrupt rival racers. Coins and other track items add another layer to each event, as winning is not only about reaching the finish line first but also about managing the resources needed to keep improving your vehicle. Between races, money can be spent on upgrades, allowing your car to become faster, tougher, or better equipped for the increasingly demanding competition.

Although the single-player game offers plenty of challenge, Rc Pro Am 2 is especially memorable when several people share the action. Four-player racing turns every corner into a potential pileup, and the screen stays lively as opponents trade positions and fire attacks. The controls are simple to pick up, but mastering braking, positioning, and weapon timing takes practice.

With its colorful presentation, energetic pace, and wonderfully competitive multiplayer, Rc Pro Am 2 remains one of the NES’s standout racing games. Whether you are revisiting a childhood favorite or discovering it for the first time, you can play online on your browser through RetroCloud and experience Rare’s inventive take on top-down combat racing.
