Building the Infrastructure for
Timeless Gaming
We are a cloud gaming technology company on a mission to make classic gaming experiences permanently accessible through modern, open, and scalable web infrastructure.
Preservation Through Innovation
RetroCloud was founded in 2019 on a singular premise: the games that shaped digital culture deserve more than obscurity. Physical media degrades. Proprietary hardware becomes obsolete. But a well-architected cloud platform can preserve interactive experiences indefinitely.
Our founding team — spanning cloud infrastructure, compilers, and game technology — built RetroCloud to be the backbone that other developers, archivists, and platforms rely on. We are not a consumer product. We are the invisible infrastructure that powers them.
Today, RetroCloud serves over 100,000 monthly active end-users through our partner platforms, with infrastructure spanning three cloud regions and a 99.97% historical uptime record.

Principles That Guide Every Decision
Openness
We build with open standards — WebAssembly, open APIs, and documented protocols. No vendor lock-in for our partners or their users.
Reliability
Uptime and data integrity are non-negotiable. We treat our SLA commitments as contracts of trust with every developer and end-user.
Privacy First
User data is never a revenue stream. We minimize data collection, maximize encryption, and give users full control over their information.
Performance
Every millisecond of latency is an enemy. We obsess over benchmark data, profiling, and incremental optimisation across every layer of the stack.
Accessibility
Our interfaces meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Classic gaming should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or technical barriers.
Long-term View
Short-term metrics never override architectural integrity. We build for the decade, not the quarter — because preservation is inherently long-term work.
